At Kakade Laser, we routinely convert complex customer drawings into production-ready, make-to-print components. This recent project features a miniature planetary gearbox—only 30 mm long with a 23 mm body diameter—manufactured and assembled completely in-house to the customer’s specification.

We did not design this gearbox; we manufactured it exactly as per customer drawings. Our role was to validate manufacturability, produce micro-gears with tight tolerances, maintain run-out and backlash limits, and verify smooth gear meshing and rotation.

Stable cutting parameters ensured dimensional repeatability
Burr-free finishes reduced post-processing time
Controlled press fits and shaft tolerances
Dial indicators and gauge blocks for run-out verification
